#292907 Walking Out

I've never walked out, except once for illness.  I was watching Swamp Juice in Edinburgh, but after a bad mussel, I was compelled to produce some swamp juice of my own.

In a month, when Happy Days opens at the Young Vic, this thread is going to confuse me and give me false hope about the prospect of buried-to-the-waist musical numbers.

Maybe there'll be a song called "Sandy".

If only there was already a musical about an orphan boy, aged around 11, who is brought up by two "surrogate" parents (at least one of which is chubby), before escaping to the opposite end of the country, where he meets an extrovert friend, and finally considers himself at home among a group of similar children, presided over by an older man (possibly gay) with a tall hat, who can magic things out of your pockets.

#221989 West End Safety.

All very sensible advice.

I must admit I've never felt unsafe in the West End, due to the reasons given above.  Just be careful of pickpockets, as you would in any other large city.

(And if you hear one late-night reveller singing "Let's All Go Down The Strand" from your hotel, please forgive me.)

Do enjoy your trip, and please let us know how you get on.
