I'm really happy this has run a year at least. Still think this could be a strong contender at the Olivier awards too

I was there this morning. Was more so impressed by the stagecraft and watching the construction unfold produced an immense image at the end. The actual narrative and story itself I found tedious and a bit repetitive. I could see as a theatrical piece this could be suited in relation to the electrical equipment to produce the sound and lighting dynamics and support the atmosphere that was being created over the course of the play, but I just found the plot seemed more akin to a radio piece. Not a bad thing of course, but it just didn't engage me in this medium. Not really my cup of tea I guess, but glad I gave it a go for 12 and can appreciate others would like this.

In Topic: Bad Behaviour At A Show

Henry V last night, despite what seemed like a nice, respectable audience we ended up next to a French couple in the back of the dress circle. Me and my friend noticed the light on the guy's phone going off frequently, until we realised he was actually snapping photos throughout the show.

We immediately alerted an usher at the interval and they said they would deal with it. I noticed they're quite prominient with the no photos placards at this show.

Despite all that, going into Act Two, into the camp scene and the phone light appears once again, so I snapped to my left and said "Could you please stop using that because it's really distracting. Thank you." They muttered something after but then stopped, though I noticed he got it back out twice, to which I shot looks, and then he stopped again. Obviously seemed like a bored boyfriend who was merely interested in snapping pics of Jude Law.

Just can't understand why people can't detach from their mobiles for one evening, add that I don't really want lights in the corner of my eye when I've paid to watch a piece of theatre and just...so disrespectful to the cast and crew.
