I'm just getting a bit sick of her blogging every single detail of her life, surely relationships are personal?

this is TERRIBLE. Just awful. sorry, but the only reason i stayed to the end was my younger cousin was enjoying it. (she is 9 years old and deaf)

no i agree, its like casting a fabulous singer (who can't act) in a play. theres no logic in that. i dont respect the show for this reason alone.

actually not true. ramin karimloo and hadley fraser have both described him as your standard alpha male and yes, he must exude charisma and sexiness. javert is about authority yes, but the thing with enjolras is he is fearless and passionate the boys under him worship that. i felt for someone who has probably had a fair few runs he was not as strong as i liked. mY OPINION! and i'll keep it no matter how many of you want to nit pick my post. i did not like him.

Saw the casting breakdown for this and it says 'Chris (19-23 years old)' so I'd be very surprised if the usual faces are what they're looking for. Craftymiss I think you're spot on about Hadley and Ramin. Ramin was Chris a decade ago. He's got no reason to go back to 'juve lead' now he's playing the likes of Phantom and Valjean regularly. And Hadley has just broken into high-calibre 'straight' theatre so he may wish to see where that road leads for a while before doing another year-long contract in a musical.

Scott Garnham? Nadim Naaman? Liam Tamne? The next generation for me...

I'm sure it'll all depend on who they find to play Kim though - that'll be the priority, and then finding the right Chris to match.

you seem to post about nadim naaman a lot, 4 different threads and all about him.

bravo. i agree with all of the above. she obviously can sing. instead of everyone shouting about what can she do for the show, why don't we come at it from a more peaceful viewpoint. she auditioned like many. got the role in her hometown, came over to broadway to do it there, now she's been offered the west end in the heart of london. she's lucky and must be very grateful.
