Well deserved....really enjoyed this and was totally taken in. Great ensemble work excellent setting and stunning vocals. Central lead performances were stunning especially Marianne Jean Baptiste and Sharon D Clarke.

Had amazing seats for £12.00 we are truly lucky to have the National produce such high calibre work !

The first time I saw this saw back in the mid 80s
Was that the Guildhall production directed by Ian Judge with Adrian Dunbar (was he Charley?) that transferred to the Bloomsbury Theatre for a week or two? I didn't see it but heard great things.

None of this has been confirmed so don't get too excited! One Man is still doing well so may not be given its marching orders.

Saw this last week. Got stalls row N right in the middle for 27.50 about 2 hours before the performance. There were quite a lot of empty seats but then it was a Wednesday matinee.

I quite enjoyed it but mainly because of Daniel Radcliffe's performance. Thought he was great. The play itself does drag along quite a bit and I found the two aunts rather strangely portrayed. Not one I would be tempted to watch again but I'm glad I managed to catch it. This is the secon play I've seen Daniel Radcliffe in (the first being Equus) - quite a talented stage actor if you ask me.
