Saw it at Theatre Royal Nottingham last week - laughed my socks off, great fun!

We went to last Saturday's matinee - very enjoyable. Applause for Angela Lansbury's every entrance/exit wasn't OTT as I had feared, quite restrained really. Didn't notice her hesitating or fluffing any lines, loved her "trance dance". Rest of the cast very good too and I agree with VDCNI, I thought Jemima Rooper got Elvira exactly right - spoilt, demanding, childish, manipulative but irresistible.

I was at yesterday's matinee too and really enjoyed it, great performances by all the cast, a true ensemble piece. I agree with stefy69 that Robert Vaughn looked frail at times (though he did manage a jaunty skip off stage at the end) and I suspect that he might have been using his prop juror's notes as a crib sheet for his lines, especially when he stumbled over his words st one point in the first half.

I went to the concert at Nottingham last week - agree with you alec_e10, a brililant show! My first time seeing the JW Orchestra "in the flesh", having watched their Proms concerts on television. Would be great if they toured with the Cole Porter tribute, for those of us out in the sticks.

Just booked row C stalls seat 19 for a performance and wondered if my view would be ok and if this seat is central?

C19 isn't right in the centre (on the aisle in the middle block) but I think your view will be fine, never had a poor view yet from the stalls at Curve and I've sat all over the place!
