flipside - it might get known as the place for shows that can't really hack it commercially - but that's the case with almost all new work by newer teams. Perhaps the Fringe has new work covered to some extent, but when does anything get picked up from the Fringe for transfer?  And when does it last even if it does?  With a rep you get the benefit of an audience finding favourites within the company and going back to see them in other roles.  So the company becomes the star which draws the audience back to try something new.

I found it flawed and the staging under powered at times.  However I did enjoy it.  If anything the lesson I wish ALW had taken was to let his music wrap around the entire subject and storytelling more.  Much of the music needed more room to insinuate some rather elegant and supple melodies into the piece.  That's what he usually does.

Why is that 'Hilarious' Parsley?  You didn't like them fair enough, but that's a triumph for you?
