Attended Saturday Matinee.
Was a full contingent of understudies.
But it didn't matter - This show does not hinge on any one star character.
Rather some technical stage brilliance, a fantastic book and songs that are memorable without being maudlin or singalong, not to mention a troop of kids acting with all the professionalism and pizazz of adults. What a show!
Only blip for me was some questionable accents and the chatter of kids behind us.
Agatha Trunchball is a villain for the musical ages.
