'Wicked' is not going to be moving. It's an effort to move shows particularly if they're moving between theatre operators.
There's building work going on around 'Billy Elliot', something to do with demolishing part of the theatre and incorporating the rest into a shopping centre. If 'Billy Elliot' isn't doing enough business to justify keeping it running during the disruption, it's likely to close rather than move. It's not easy to move a show and can be very, very expensive. Also, if 'Billy Elliot' is not doing enough business to fill a 1550 regularly it's not going to be moving to a 2000 seater
From what i undertstand, when the planned redevelopment of Victoria was mooted, the Victoria Palace bought the land immediately behind the theatre, which oddly enough housed a hideous 1960's office block called "Elliot House". Now this has been demolished, I believe that when the work needed for the new interchange of Victoria station is nearing completion then the stage house of the VP will be demolished so that it can be extended backwards to incorporate the land bought earlier. It may well be that Billy either closes or moves when this happens.
