I've Never Seen Othello

27 September 2013 - 08:22 AM

Running my eye down the list to see the gaps, I see I've never seen:

Timon of Athens
Troilus and Cressida
Henry VIII
Various things of contested authorship

No particular reason, but somehow in amongst half a dozen of each of the other big ones, I've never managed to see it.  I don't like it on reading or seeing TV/film adaptations, but it seems a gap in my theatre experience.

The only Welsh 3000 I've not done is Crib Goch: my mother took me over it when she was 7 months pregnant with me, so I'm saving it for A Significant Occasion, which never quite materialises.  But Othello's not like that: I've just never quite got around to it.

So are there rumours of a good one in the coming twelve months that I could see to cross it off?

Not So Much Ado
