day matinee and I really enjoyed it!  For the first 5 minutes, I confess, I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about and was slightly worried about that, but then it clicked and I really enjoyed it.

It is very dialogue heavy, not much happens on stage action wise, and the set design is not that interesting but the fact that its so engaging, shows just how good the cast are.

Daniel Mays was a stand out for me, however I did think Rupert Grint was brillant and played the part great, to the point I didn't think Ron Weasley once when I was watching Sweets, which when you are known for such a well loved character, thats a pretty big achievement.  Not knowing Ben Whishaw's work at all prior to this, I thought he was phenomenal as Baby...he was twitchy, appeared off balance but with enough intelligence to make you think...is he?!! As you should!!!  Colin and Brendan were excellent too.  This is truly a fantastic ensemble.

As for seats R19 is absolutely fine but R18 is pretty bad. We had empty seats next tous tho so moved into 19&20 which was good views.

Anyone who likes autographs from the cast tho, be warned, its a little crazy!!!! :)

Bit of leaning, the pillar lines up almost with the edge of the stage. Otherwise, quite close to the stage compared to a lot of theatres. Better to be to the side of the pillars than between them, I feel.

Leaning I can handle :)  Thanks for replying

For those still looking for tickets: :) After many attempts I managed to a single ticket for a Thursday matinee...I was a bit concerned as both the evening and matinee for Thursday 14th Nov was showing up online but when I popped into ask the staff confirmed that all understudy performances were priced at £5 (which is good to know!) So this was def a full cast performance. I just thought people looking for tickets may be interested to know that some tickers do sometimes pop up online.

Also when I popped in one Saturday the queue for returns had started at 16.30....but they do sell standing on the day also when box office opens at 10am.

Im very late here I know but I saw this in June, whilst I thought Daniel Radcliffe was great...found this play to be extremely dull.  When we saw it we noticed a high quantity of empty seats after the interval so Im guessing we were not alone in disliking the play! The performances of the cast were good though!

Hello All. I booked Stalls R 18 & 19 a while back for Saturday. Am very much looking forward to seeing the play but am a bit concerned about seats.  Does anyone know what these seats are like? Thanks :)
