I loved this show. I've seen it 5 or 6 times, and I live in Tennessee! I did not see it for a long time, thinking I would not like it, and Queen was a bunch of drugged out hippies. What a lesson in stereotypes I got when I went to see it because I met a member of the cast and wanted to support him. There is a lot of truth in the story, and a lot of clever lines. I don't mind suspending disbelief, just like one would watching Phantom, Batman, etc. The story doesn't matter because of the music! It's such a feel good show, with musicians singing , dancing, and actually playing the instruments. I am really sorry to see it close, and I would come from the States for the last performance, if only they would release the tickets. I've called the box office and Ticketmaster several times, to no avail.

I so agree with the member who said that Hugh Jackman sounded harsh. I too have listened to the Ramin Karimloo sing "Brin Him Home," so I was sort of shocked at Hugh's tone. Ramin puts so much emotion in the song; I am planning on traveling to Toronto to see his Jean Valjean once more. I also agree that Ann Hathaway was outstanding.
