As You Like It - 3 hours 20 minutes

As much as I loved the production and the music, she had a tendency to add padding. Even in King John there was a full blown party sequence that I would have shortened.

Along with the rest of the set?

I'm not an expert on this sort of thing but how much set pieces can you store in a fly tower, along with backdrops and such?

No production has ever used an actual helicopter. And the Prince Edward stage is one of London's largest FYI
Perhaps it's because I was looking down on the doors from the bay doors

Even so from what I could see there's just enough wing space for actors to stand around. If I remember correctly the touring production had shacks on either side (and weren't they taken off for certain scenes?), the head statue, a fence e.g.

If this is the same production that toured the UK last time then it will be the awful projection that they used, unless they've spruced it up since then.

Anyway I was passing the Prince Edward a few weeks ago and they had the bay doors open. You could see the stage which looks tiny, with no wing space at all. There's no way they can put the body of a helicopter in the fly tower.
