Just another question for anybody who might know.......with all the Victoria Station construction going on there and for a couple of blocks around it, how did or does the Victoria Palace survive?  Is it their intention to incorporate the theatre into the final product?  It just seems to stick out there in a what seems to be a totally desolate environment and even crossing the street is now a real pain.

As I said, reading through the thread, all the speculation by a few was a closing in the next couple of months.  The expansion of the booking period was just a surprise.  I don't suspect we're in for a Les Miz or Phantom run, that's pretty much for sure (or enough time for one of the former Billys to play the role of the older Billy, now that would be something!)

So it's so strange to see the Victoria Palace out there all by itself with everything around it having been torn down and just getting there is like a zig zag course of crossing streets back and forth.  Also I was in London a week ago, got started late and still was able to get a day ticket for the Thursday matinee last week at 11 AM (I remember the days when the queue was out the door at 0930 for the day tickets)...they are on TKTS and yada yada yada.  All signs of a show on its last legs.  Or so one would think.  Yet today I read they have extended booking period to 21 June 2014.  Now I know, that doesn't mean they can't suddenly come up with a closing notice.  But it sure doesn't sound like any closing is imminent.  Or am I missing something?
