Ashley put his dates up on his Facebook page in July as follows

Ashley's Elder Price dates

5th,6th and 7th of August
19th,20th,21st of September
28th,29th and 30th of October
28th,29th and 30th of November

he then added 18th September a few weeks ago and tonight he tweeted
"So I've been asked by a lot of people if I was playing Elder Price on Wednesday. Yes I was! :D"

this is almost a direct response to Ian above !

I notice that there are no reduced priced previews - just right into the full prices from the go !

Ashley was fantastic when I saw the show last night. He does a few things differently from Gavin but he does certainly look more the part of a 19 year old. Both his acting and vocals were faultless in my opinion.

I was really bored by the play.If Dame Judi had not been in this I am pretty sure the theatre would be half empty. She did have some amusing lines and was definitely a presence. But the other actors, particularly Ben Wishaw, were stumbling lines with far too much frequency considering it has been going now for nearly three weeks.

It is very noticeable that everyone ( including myself ) says 2 things YES Heather is fantastic and YES the scenery is very clever and innovative. Then there is a mention of Debbie Kurup who was good too but that is about it.Unless there are a LOT of changes I can't see it going the distance.

Yes I have heard really good things about this and the cast announced today has some really good names. I have just booked and what I love about the Soho is when you book enough in advance the 1st 10 tickets for each performance are £12 - as opposed to £29.50 !!

I thought Will Young was brilliant - much to my surprise to be honest.... Michelle Ryan was just bland and the ensemble looked like they really couldnt be bothered most of the time.. but it was worth seeing just for Will
