Thanks for the info. Probably head up to watch them in Edinburgh now, loads of cheap tickets available there.

I was wondrous at the 5 star raves it received in Manchester
But then I suppose they have little else to compare it to up there

Shocked to see that the running time is 3 hours!  That means I can definitely only risk a matinee, so the chances of my seeing this are even slimmer, what with Front Row tix being hard to get anyway.

Yep the running time caught me out (there are two intervals) on Saturday night. I was pushing it to make the last train, then we got evacuated as the fire alarm went off. So I had to bail. Least it was only a £10 ticket.

The only reviews I bother reading for Manchester shows are the Manchester Theatre Awards http://manchestertheatreawards.com/

Anyway, I loved the show. It's great fun. Katherine Kingsley steals the show as usual. Not so enthusiastic as Burlybear about Rufus Hound's singing. The second half storyline with Samantha Bond and John Marquez felt a bit tacked on to give them something to do. Also, it's a bit long at 2hours 40 minutes, but this was the fourth preview so I guess that will get shorter.
