In Topic: Views On Going To The Stage Door

I f I go see a show and there's an actor that I really like or their performance inspires me, I like meeting them at the stage door. Can't stand the shoving that happens if it gets really busy though, it's silly. I once waited outside the Les Mis door to meet Sam Barks and the girls pushing to get to her was ridiculous.

People can also be really rude, both to other fans and the actors. A few times when I've waited, actors have been going to get food inbetween a matinee and evening performance. They'll sign stuff for as long as they can but the guys have got to eat and some people are so rude, chasing them down the street or demanding photos and autographs.

I often go on my own to stuff because the majority of my friends either aren't really interested in musicals or can't afford the ticket prices.

Found a sneaky way round not leaving single tickets, well it works if there's more than 2 together in a row. I open more than 1 window and put the extra seats around it in a basket, then buy the 1 i want in a separate browser. Still annoying if there's only 2 and you just want 1.

So many people go on their own nowadays, they should really think about updating it.
