Although I've seen other Arthur Miller plays over the years, I've never seen this one at all. Having Richard play the lead role of Proctor is gravy as far as I'm concerned.

I'm curious about it being "in the round". The last, and only, time I went to the Old Vic (Patrick Stewart in "A Christmas Carol", THAT'S how long ago it was), it was the proscenium arch style. If anyone has already seen productions in the round there, can you tell me what it's like?

I went on 5th. April, and loved the whole thing! It's a shame though, that Dame Angela is the only one whose face is on the posters.

She wasn't the only reason that I went, as I thought Charles Edwards was bloody good in "The King's Speech" and Jemima Rooper hilarious in "One Man Two Guv'nors".

I agree about the "trance dance" especially all the 'come hither' type gestures. Another great moment that really made me laugh was near the end. Charles is laughing in relief that the ghosts have gone because of the maid's unwitting influence, but manages to make it sound so wrong that the maid thinks he's had his wicked way with her.

How could I forget this?

Virtually all of Paul Kieve's illusions to create "The Invisible Man"! Just how did Michael N. Harbour appear at the end?

I think I'll just use my £6.00 (Unlimited Card) ticket at my local Cineworld!

How about the reveal of Ratty's house in "Wind In The Willows"? Great use of the drum revolve on the Olivier stage.
