Well I couldn't recall it. It may well have been but I may have missed it.
I do hope some of the show amendments are put into the London version for audiences to see. The new rippling sort of lighting on Defying. Gravity is great and the wire work in the cub scene adds a lot more spectacle!
Saw the matinee. All went superb as expected. Full cast were on too. Still low sound in Act One but not too low that you miss lines and much improved from earlier performances. Act Two sound was much better and Nikki was on fire. I would say Emily was more on point for me in today's performance out of the leads but this cast is pretty perfect. The raw emotions of the actors in the tour production are great. I feel like the London show may have better vocalists but the acting in the touring version is phenomenal. I must applaud Emily's interpretations of her lines the delivery is very different from the other Glinda's I have seen also Nikki pours her heart and soul into the character seeing her cry over Nessa's grave was heart wrenching. Overall the show today was far superior to any previous incarnations I have seen it was all very slick and smooth.
I also noticed tonight something I never caught in my previous viewing during Madame Morrible's entrance she talks about the faculty members and gestured to a female teacher dress in purple also the law and linguification lines were gestured towards students. I am nearly sure this was different before and there was no teacher present and it was directed to the crowd as a whole.
