I saw this last night and wanted to give a heads up about the pillar seats.  We sat in stalls row N seats 48 and 49 and would highly recommend for the price (£16 and £21 respectively).  Very thin pillar a few rows up that I forgot about immediately after the play started.   It ended at 10:05 and I thought the in-the-round seating worked very well.

For what it's worth I didn't like the play very much.  I found the script surprisingly clunky, using really bad expository dialogue to fill us in on the backstory (which I was never invested in).  The acting was good all around although I didn't think Clare Higgins could do much with the part of the sister.  Hard to belive someone won a Tony for this role as I didn't believe in the character for a second.

The Donmar website now has standing tickets for sale for several dates over the next few weeks.  I agree with the above about Gill's meticulousness and am not interested in standing for this as his plays can be very slow going.  By the way, I thought I remembered the Donmar holding their standing places for sale on the day.  Obviously not the case anymore.

I saw it last night as well and was wondering what others thought.  I found it totally uninvolving and didn't care about the characters at all.  It was a long 90 minutes.

I wonder if the Royal Court expected to cast more famous names in this - it would explain running it downstairs.

Does anyone know anything about the sightlines from the standing tickets on the upper level?  They say 'Very Restricted View' which is worrisome.  (It's the word 'very' that is scaring me off!).

Seats in the first two rows of the stalls and a large part of the lower circle have just been released via the Barbican website for the press night at the Barbican, 12 December.  Be quick though!
