I've long since stopped listening to EP on Sunday. For me, it became a safe, boring, tired format, like much else on Radio 2 especially in daytime. Theatre deserves a better showcase than this, it's time for a complete change.

I'm not a fan of 'interactive' shows either. There was a lot of interesting stuff in the play, James Graham certainly does his research really well but it didn't quite come together for me. The issue I had, aside from the interactiveness of it was that it went on way too long. It was a little over 2 hours 30 mins on the preview I went to & it felt like it needed a good trim.

I thoroughly enjoyed the play. Cleverly constructed, it's compelling & keeps you engaged from be finning to end. Well acted,I loved the staging in the round which suits the Old Vic so well.

I saw it yesterday at the Charing Cross Theatre. What a charming musical with a delightful score & a cast who are clearly having a great time performing in this enchanting show. Sadly when I saw it, the theatre was barely half full. It deserves to be seen, I'd definitely recommend it.
